The St. Regis New York is as opulent and regal as it is historical. A landmark in Midtown Manhattan, the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel is world-renowned for its Gilded Age design and impeccable service, including 24-hour butlers. The lobby is small, but magnificently adorned with gold-leafed cornices, Italian marble, a trompe l’oeil of the night sky blanketing the ceiling and a grand marble staircase. The 227 lavish guest rooms and suites balance the regal style with modern amenities, such as a bedside panel that allows you to control everything in the room at the push of a button—including the around-the-clock butler service—because, chances are, you won’t want to leave the cloudlike bed once you slip between the Egyptian cotton sheets.
